Waller County to hold meeting about landfill (Thursday, July 14, 2011) – yourhoustonnews.com

The Waller County Commissioners Court will hold a workshop Thursday, July 14, at 6:30 p.m. at the Hempstead High School auditorium to discuss the proposed Pintail Landfill.

Representatives from GreenFirst, the company wanting to build and operate the landfill on Highway 6, will be available to answer questions. County Judge Glenn Beckendorff said residents can visit www.co.waller.tx .us for more information before the workshop.

The county is requesting that questions be submitted prior to the workshop via the website; however, there will be questionnaire forms available at the meeting, as well as at the county courthouse.

For more information, call Beckendorff’s office at 979-826-7700.
